3 Days til NSD - How I believe the 2016 class will finish...

With the commitment today from Antonio Shelton, DaPride16 sits at 18 commitments (14 verbal, 4 enrolled).

I believe all 14 verbal commitments will fax in their LOI come Wednesday, and we will add a few others in the next couple of days and finish at 20 or 21.

Dredrick Snelson Jr. or Dae'lun Darien - Both WRs currently commited elsewhere. Snelson from Florida is still verbally commited to Minnesota and Darien from Maryland is still verbally commited to Temple. I think the chances went down a little after both left campus from their OV to Happy Valley this past weekend without flipping their commitments, but I still believe that Penn State will flip the commitment from one of the talented wideouts. Looks like Snelson plans on announcing his school of choice on Wednesday.

Tyrell Chavis or Rashad Weaver - Chavis is a very talented JuCo defensive tackle from Virginia who just finished his OV to Happy Valley this past weekend. Weaver is a defensive end from Florida who gained national attention recently with his decommitment from Michigan. I believe that Penn State will gain the talents from either Chavis or Weaver. Weaver plans to announce his school on Wednesday at 3pm.

Believe that Penn State will land one from each of the above groups to put the class at 20, and then MAYBE one of the following:

Damar Hamlin - Hamlin will be announcing his commitment tomorrow at 6pm live on local Pittsburgh TV station KDKA. Down to Penn State, Pitt, and Ohio State, and my gut tells me that local team Pitt is the team to beat here.

Brendan Ferns - Ferns will be announcing his commitment Wednesday morning at 7am via Twitter after faxing in his LOI. This one is down to Penn State and West Virgina, and think that WVU is in the lead here.

Lavert Hill - Former Penn State cornerback commit from Michigan, who decommited a few months back from the Nittany Lions. Hill will be announcing his commitment at his high school on Wednesday and is down to Penn State, Michigan, and Michigan State. Lavert took an OV to Happy Valley a couple weeks back, and Penn State brought the house, but my gut tells me Michigan is the team to beat here.
